Weaving the Rainbow characters º 104 Weaving the RainbowOne can also make a great Lesson Plan with this book since it has some rather complex vocabulary for kindergarteners and different concepts I guess children understand how goods are made too in real world like how a fleece is dyed and weaved and spun to create a beautiful rainbow I think that really stimulates the mind if you ask them about these concepts The artist does a phenomenal work with water colors and pencil the illustrations don’t look malformed or strange like on some children’s picture books The story is great too how sheep feed in the pasture and go from season to season and eventually come to the rainbow Like in fall we see beautiful leaves and in the winter we seewell winter Gets a 4 out of 5

Weaving the Rainbow characters º 104 Weaving the RainbowAbsolutely beautiful watercolour illistrations in this delicious read It seems almost like a cross between a non fiction book about the seasons of a lamb and yet there is a lovely surprise which lends itself to delight and mystery A superb bedtime read with your children Intrigue creeps in about half way through and dazzles you towards a magnificent ending There is a lot of new vocabulary you can discuss with the children and colours too
